Our Story

Dalal and Mehta LLC was founded back in 1977, when Suresh H. Dalal (SHD) opened the Law Office of Suresh H. Dalal, laying the foundation for a practice built on integrity and relentless advocacy. For decades, he worked tirelessly to support immigrants and individuals in need of strong legal representation, becoming a trusted name in the community.


In 2016, Attorney Pooja Mehta joined the firm as an Associate Attorney, bringing fresh perspectives and an unwavering passion for empowering clients. Under SHD’s mentorship, Attorney Pooja Mehta honed her skills and embraced the firm’s mission with the vision to help individuals navigate the complexities of immigration and personal injury law.


By 2019, Attorney Pooja Mehta had become the Co-Managing Partner, marking a new chapter in the firm’s history. Her resilience and outstanding commitment to providing exceptional services added to the development of the firm. The historic transition led to the transformation of the Law Office of Suresh H. Dalal into Dalal and Mehta LLC, continuing its long-standing commitment to advocacy while expanding its services to reach and support even more individuals in need.


Tragically, in 2021, SHD passed away, leaving behind a powerful legacy of justice and service. While his presence is Deeply missed, his values, vision, and passion for helping others remain at the core of everything we do.


With time, Dalal and Mehta Law Firm has continued providing the exceptional services to the clients and transformed many immigrant stories. We are here to empower immigrants in their pursuit of the American dream. What began as a passion for advocacy quickly grew into a dedicated law firm, committed to guiding individuals and families through the complex legal pathways of immigration and personal injury law.
